The construction of a 10 kilometers spine road linking the city from North to South, from the Emirates Road to the Dubai Outer Bypass Road, offers easy access to vehicles and trucks across the entire city. The spine road is a dual carriage way, each comprising four lanes on each side. Collector roads as well as local roads in the project have been largely completed.
With close collaboration with Dubai Electricity and Water Authority – DEWA, electrical power is supplied by 4 different 132 KVA substations. A total of 800 MW is readily available to fulfill demand from all planned industrial projects.

Open Yard Storage in Dubai
Dubai Industrial Park also offers open yard storage in Dubai of nearly 3 million sq.ft., for storage of construction materials equipment, and automobiles. The open yard facility is fully fenced, tarmaced along with perimeter lighting and is monitored by a 24 hour on-site security team.
Taasees at DI is a one-stop shop to address all government related issues including licensing, registration, permits and visas. In addition, the DI Permits Department assists companies with their proposals for construction of industrial facilities and commercial developments, a single window approach to expedite developments.
The Permits Department reviews the architectural designs, permit requests, construction plans and infrastructure requirements for adherence to local and statutory requirements. DI is not a free-zone therefore Federal Company Law No. 8 of 1984 is applicable. This law stipulates that all companies have at least one national partner accounting for at least 51% capital. The partners can mutually agree to profit share in a proportion that is different from their respective capital share. In addition, the management of the company can be undertaken by the foreign partner. From 2005, GCC nationals can own 100 percent of a company’s capital.
